PLAYMAPY
Terms of use
Updated 3 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-03.1
These rules apply to the PLAYMAPY app for iPhone and Android and to the playmapy.com website. They describe what the service actually does and what we expect from everyone who uses it.
Who runs PLAYMAPY
PLAYMAPY is run by Goality Sport Group OÜ, registry code 17232252, Peterburi tee 34/4, 11415 Tallinn, Estonia. Contact: hello@playmapy.com.
What PLAYMAPY is
PLAYMAPY is a map of sport: places, events, clubs and businesses, Moments, check-ins, trainings and challenges. PLAYMAPY is free: it has no subscriptions or payments and does not accept or hold anyone’s money.
Your account
- The app and the website share one account. You sign in with an email and password, or with Apple (website and iPhone) or Google (website, iPhone and Android).
- Keep your password to yourself. Everything done from your account is treated as done by you.
- State your date of birth and country truthfully. PLAYMAPY does not verify them, but the age rules for being public and for rewards depend on them.
Age
- Under 14 your profile is closed and nothing about you is public. From 14 being public is your own choice, if you have also reached the age of digital consent in your country; otherwise a parent’s or guardian’s consent is needed, and PLAYMAPY has no way to give it yet.
- If your age is unknown, nothing about you becomes public, and rewards with an age limit are not available.
Details are in the privacy policy, section “Age”.
What you publish
- Moments, photos, comments, reviews and changes to places are published by you, and you are responsible for them.
- You choose who sees each Moment. PLAYMAPY shows it only to that audience.
- A Moment is about real sport: something you did, saw or took part in.
- When a photo or video is published, the location and camera data stored inside the file are removed; the orientation of the picture is kept. What is visible in the picture itself is not changed — check it before you publish.
- Information about places, events and organisations is added by people and organisations. It can be incomplete or out of date — check opening hours, access and conditions on site.
- Before your first publication — a Moment, a comment, a review, a photo or a description — you accept these rules in the app or on the website.
- Text with obscene words from our list is not published: PLAYMAPY checks Moments, comments, reviews, names and descriptions before they appear and asks you to change the text. How the check works and what it does not catch is described below, under “Automatic text check”.
What is not allowed
Do not publish or do in PLAYMAPY:
- anything illegal, or calls to break the law;
- threats, harassment, bullying, or hate against people because of who they are;
- sexual content, and any content that sexualises or endangers children;
- violence or self-harm shown as something to copy;
- other people’s personal data, or photos in which people can be recognised against their will;
- impersonation of another person or organisation;
- fake check-ins, fake location or other tricks to get challenge progress, badges or rewards you did not earn;
- spam and advertising that has nothing to do with the sport on the page;
- content you have no right to publish — for example, someone else’s photos;
- attempts to break the service, get into other people’s accounts or collect data about users automatically.
Reports and blocking
- You can report a Moment, a comment, a person, a review, or a reward from an organisation — choose “Report” next to it.
- Reports are reviewed by PLAYMAPY moderators. The person you report is not told who reported them.
- You can block a person. After that you no longer see their Moments and comments. You can unblock them in the same place.
You can tell us about a problem with the service on the page “Report a problem”, or by writing to hello@playmapy.com.
Moderation
A moderator decides whether reported content breaks these rules or the law. Content that does is removed; a removal is always recorded with a reason.
An organisation that does not honour the rewards it published may lose the ability to publish rewards.
Automatic text check
Before publication PLAYMAPY checks text against a list of obscene and abusive words in Russian and English (based on the open LDNOOBW list, CC BY 4.0). If a word from the list is found, the text is not published and you can change it — what you typed stays in the field. Some words are not refused but passed to a moderator, who decides by context.
What has been checked: capital letters, ё and е, look-alike Latin and Cyrillic letters, digits instead of letters, repeated letters and letters separated by dots or spaces are recognised; ordinary words with a listed word inside (such as “Scunthorpe” or “мандарин”) and real names of places, clubs and people are not refused.
This check is an aid, not a guarantee. It does not catch a word split by separators, a word masked with asterisks, or an insult without swear words. Reports, blocking and moderation remain the main protection.
There is no Estonian word list yet: text in Estonian is protected by reports and moderation.
The check never changes your text: what you publish is stored exactly as you typed it.
Challenges and rewards from organisations
- Challenges, rewards and offers are published by clubs, businesses and other organisations. A reward is given by the organisation that published it, not by PLAYMAPY. PLAYMAPY does not promise any reward on its own behalf.
- Before you take part you see who gives the reward, what it is, the conditions, how long you can collect it, and the age limits.
- The conditions are fixed at the moment you complete the challenge; a later change to the offer does not change a reward you have already earned.
- There are no draws, no “first N people” and no rewards for the best result.
- Age limits are set by the organisation and cannot be lower than PLAYMAPY’s limits for the type of reward. For an 18+ reward the organisation’s staff checks a document; PLAYMAPY does not store it.
- You collect a reward with a personal code that you show to the organisation’s staff.
- If an organisation does not give a reward you have earned, report it next to the reward — PLAYMAPY reviews it.
For organisations that publish rewards
Before publishing a reward, an organisation accepts the PLAYMAPY rules for rewards (version 2026-10-02.1) in Studio:
- the organisation guarantees the reward to everyone who completes the challenge on its terms;
- PLAYMAPY does not accept or hold any money;
- no draws, no “first N people” and no rewards for the best result;
- the terms are fixed at the moment of completion and never change retroactively;
- for 18+ the organisation’s staff checks a document; for a minor with a parent — that the parent is present;
- participants’ complaints are reviewed; failing to honour rewards restricts publishing them.
The organisation is responsible for the conditions of its rewards being accurate and for handing them out.
Location and Health data
Your location is used when you check in or record a training, and only with your permission in the system.
Steps, distance, activity and workouts from Apple Health or Health Connect are read only after you connect them yourself. They are not published automatically. PLAYMAPY is not a medical service and gives no medical advice.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time — in the app, on the website or by email. Once you confirm, deletion cannot be cancelled. What is deleted and what is kept is explained on the page “Delete your PLAYMAPY account”.
Changes to these rules
When these rules change, the date and the version at the top of this page change too, and before your next publication you are asked to accept the new version.
